Southern Homes worked with me on the build of my home. My home took a little longer to build because there were many things that I wanted to do for myself. Jerry ensured that all code requirements were met. However, because of the way he worked with me, I was able to build my dream home for my family at a very reduced cost.

He not only finished our home but made it look better than I had imagined. Additionally, he helped us get back on budget. I deeply appreciate everything the Southern Homes team has done.
Jerry built my wife and I our dream home. He worked with us for almost two years. We knew he was the builder for us. He personally made changes and did the work himself to keep our costs low. He spent countless hours working with my family with his tools on his own time to ensure that our home was built specifically for us in every detail. Otherwise, I would never have been able to afford this home.
After my warranty expired, I experienced several issues. An inexpensive kitchen faucet that I had installed began leaking, causing damage to my cabinets. Jerry efficiently replaced the affected cabinet sections. Soon after, a nearly 50-foot tree in my backyard showed signs of decay; Jerry arranged for its removal to prevent any potential harm to my property. Notably, all of these services were provided at no cost and were not required under the terms of my warranty.
I have nothing but praise for Jerry. He maintains exceptionally high standards. He knew the situation of me bringing my mother to come live with me. He built out and finished my basement “at cost” – I can’t think of any builder that would do that.
We interviewed many builders and chose Southern Homes. They kept us informed about timelines, costs, & change orders, & allowed us to fully redesign the interior to suit our needs. Working with their contractors was enjoyable, & what could have been a stressful process turned out to be fun.
